陶芸家の鈴木環による、陶器でできた鏡餅。まるで琺瑯のような鈴木の粉引が、鏡餅になりました。つるりとした餅の上に、陶土を丸めてつくった橙(だいだい)がちょこんと載った、なんとも愛らしい一品です。陶器でできた鏡餅と聞けば、ぱっと会話が弾み、その場をほっこり和ませてくれること必至です。笑顔のあるところに、福も来るもの。愛嬌あふれる鏡餅で、新しい年を明るく楽しく迎えませんか。

<鏡餅の豆情報>
鏡餅は、新しい年の健康と幸せを祈る、神様へのお供え物です。神様があらゆるところに宿ると考えられる日本では、屋内の各スペースにそれぞれお供えするのが良いとされています。

This Kagami-Mochi (round shaped rice cake, used as a New Year’s offering) is made of ceramics by pottery artist Kan Suzuki. His Kohiki with the enamel-like texture turned into a Kagami-Mochi and a cute Daidai (small orange) made of ceramics is placed on top of it. Anyone who finds that this is made of ceramics would be surprised. It would melt anyone’s heart and bring out a nice chat. Good fortune and happiness come to the house where there’s smile.
