Dedicated to a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke

This piece is created by collaborating with a poetry anthology "Kanohito" written by Bin Sugawara.

Takemura was originally thinking of pursuing science and engineering. In this piece, you can see his point of view showing a glimpse of that sense. He imagined a physical contact “parabola” from the keyword “fall” in Rilke’s poem and tried transforming it into pottery ware. The ware created with a mathematical approach makes you realize that art and math which seem contradicting is actually inextricably linked. Falling into solitude as if it is a small universe, the ware is an art piece born from his logical thinking.
