陶芸家・竹村良訓による一つ一つ釉薬の異なる陶製タイルを、金工の成瀬治が組み合わせ、縁取るように額装した壁掛けのアートピース。一枚のタイルのピースが、積み木のように構築されていく様から、”BAU”（ドイツ語で建築、構造）と名付けました。扱うマテリアルも作風も異なる二人のクリエーションが合わさることで生まれた、全く新しいアート。自由な解釈で、楽しんでいただきたい作品です。

Ceramic tiles by ceramic artist Yoshinori Takemura, each with a different glaze, are combined by metal worker Osamu Naruse and framed into a wall-hanging art piece. The name "BAU" (German for "building," "structure") is derived from the way the tiles are constructed like building blocks. This is a completely new kind of art created by combining the creations of two artists who work with different materials and styles. We hope that you will enjoy this work with a free interpretation.
