A wooden bowl finished with sabi-urushi, a putty-like lacquer traditionally used as a base coat. Here, it is applied in thick layers directly onto the wood, creating a rich, textured surface. The subdued character of the sabi-urushi beautifully complements the bowl’s rounded, plump form. Suitable for serving soup or as a matcha bowl.
