A collaborative lamp by ceramic artist Yoshinori Takemura and lighting studio indust.
A one-of-a-kind lamp combining a ceramic base made by Takemura with wooden and brass components individually handcrafted by indust. The shade was also created by the two artists, from selecting the fabric to the final construction, chosen to complement Takemura’s richly colored ceramic base.
The gentle, warm light spreads through the room like a small flame lit on a quiet night. Its character changes beautifully depending on whether the lamp is switched on or off, revealing a different expression in each state.
The lamp is operated by a traditional pull switch with a ball chain. From the soft click as it switches on and off to the tactile feel of the chain in your hand, every detail is designed to be part of the experience.

Based in Tokyo’s Sumida Ward, indust creates one-of-a-kind lighting pieces, from base lamps made with vintage ceramic vessels to original lamps featuring modern designs.
